"We used the services of Number1Handyman.com in July 2012. We had an outhouse building converted into a utility room, they re-plastered the walls and ceiling, fitted 12 spot lights, stone tiles on the floor, and fitted 8 units, then they fitted the new worktop. They also plumbed in a new sink, and pipework for a washing machine which we haven't purchased as of yet, but will be calling the handyman team back in the near future to plumb it in. We found Number1Handyman by chance; my wife and I were buying some paint from the builders merchant in our village, and saw their work van in the car park so we gave them a ring, and arranged a meeting at our house for the following day. Jason, the owner of the company, came round and gave us a quote, we compared it with two other quotes we had and theirs came out in the middle. They completed the job in about a week and a half, and to a very high standard. I really liked the way they charge for the whole job and not by the hour, which was what the previous handyman we used did. When you get a fixed price, you know where you stand. I would use them again; we found them very friendly, and also very helpful."
